We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated as you use Noice:
- Account data – email address, password hash, authentication tokens.
- Content – notes, files, and prompts you upload or create.
- Usage data – device information, app interactions, log data needed to keep the service secure.
- Support data – messages and contact preferences when you reach out to us.
How We Use Your Information
We process your data only for the purposes described here:
- Provide and maintain the Noice service, including syncing notes across devices.
- Secure accounts, monitor abuse, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Process content with AI features when you ask us to.
- Send essential service updates or respond to support requests.
- Improve the product and plan new features based on aggregated usage trends.
For EU/EEA users our legal bases are contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers who help us run Noice, such as:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that keep the app online.
- Authentication, email, and payment partners necessary to deliver the service.
- AI processing services when you trigger features that require them.
When you use AI-powered features, we send only the snippets of content needed to fulfill your request to our contracted AI providers (for example, transcription or summarization engines). These providers process the data solely to deliver the requested output and are contractually obligated to keep it confidential and delete it after processing.
These providers may be located outside your country. When we transfer data internationally we rely on standard contractual safeguards or equivalent protections.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep Noice secure and to understand how visitors use our marketing pages. Through the cookie banner you can change your preferences at any time.
- Necessary – required for security and core features (always on).
- Analytics – help us measure how the site performs (only used if you consent).
- Marketing – support optional experiences or campaigns (only used if you consent).

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Noice does not sell your personal information. If you are a U.S. resident and would like to opt out of any future selling or sharing as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, please contact us through the
contact form and select “Do Not Sell / Privacy Request,” or email
legal@getnoice.com. We will confirm your request within the timelines required by law.
Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as you maintain an account with us. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe unless we need to keep certain records for legal or security reasons.
Support communications and log data are retained only as long as necessary to investigate issues and maintain service integrity.
Children
Noice is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.
